FIG Notation in EntryManager

EntryManager has the facility to display, select and search for skills using either a

descriptive name or the FIG notation for the skill.

You can change the way you see the skill names so that all screens use the same method but in some screens you can swap between methods as desired.

Changing the method of displaying skills will not affect the way in which skills will appear on competition cards when they are printed. The method of showing skills on cards is set by the design of the card.

Global Change

To open the User Settings from the Main Menu go

Main Menu > Settings > User Settings

Change this option to specify the method you wish to use.

Changing the method of showing skills in the User Settings will cause all the screens in EntryManager to use the method chosen here.

The screens to create and edit cards will always use the method chosen here.

Standard Routines

Use the drop down list here to chose between descriptive names and FIG notation.

Changes here will only affect this screen and it will revert back to the choice made in User Settings when the screen is next opened.
